When the love stock actually fluctuates.
The age old photo of Bombay Stock Exchange always catches my eye on the
daily news. Inspite of all the archaic pillars and saline breezes,it still
remains an important active national monument which humorously stands for
stability, security, finance, growth, resilience etc.
Today when I speak about love, relationship and infatuations. In the modern world one simply questions that is one’s life actually any different from the almighty stock exchange? The average erudite men and women providing impeccable service to the country during work hours, during breaks- the underhanded pink slips, guilty numbered paper rolls, cigarettes etc pass amongst the just romantically jittery hubby texted hands in the labyrinthine cash flowing passages of our nation. For some of these employees, the loud verbose yells or the well-chosen cuss words is an adrenaline rush waiting for a channel of subtle moans and throngs of vertebral arced pleasure. Sometimes the shares which you left at night have found a rather drastic movement in the morning. While there are other times where you have vouched days , months or years of experience to the same company - analysing , studying and accounting their trends, booms etc .but it doesn't get boring. That's the magic of the stocks , the building , the people, the currency it's all the same. But each new day in the loud hustle and bustle grants us an interesting view . In a person's life there are some company's which don't leave the top 20 position for years. While there are others , unfortunate and financially destute. Hardly affecting the economic personality of the nation any longer. Every investor starts small, but getting a TATA, L&T , Reliance , Mahindra etc stock at a young age is a blessing in disguise because this portfolio will achieve gorgeous wonders and not some frivolous one time trade benefits.
While one approaches the topic of shares one must approach the topic of
mutual funds. India has witnessed a prime social change from shagun riches and
Dahej gold to shares portfolios and mutual funds. Moreover there’s a redundant
advertisement of mutual funds and market risks, it does deliver a chuckle on perfect
recitation.
In India steamy affairs and financial crimes make the newspaper
headlines. It could be Mr Mehta or simply a typical Bollywood drama both have an
engrossed audience.
Moving towards the diverse inference. Many people believe that love is baseless it just happens. These are the same people who believe that investing in markets is similar to gambling in poker. That’s where the new generation stands with a different stance. With an increase in start-ups and entrepreneurships the 21st century is the dynamic era of big data, AI, bio-informetics, econometrics etc. There’s evolution in all fields. There is an algorithm to predict best matches for your dates and there is an app to count your daily water intake, moving on we have websites which continuously monitor the share price. The next time your phone pings it could simply mean a tinder notification or a stock market alert. Concluding I go back to my original statement that though human emotions are a far cry from corporate life let’s just take a moment and ask ourselves the question, is it really so?
The irony of relationships, one person sells and other one
buys...somehow they both think they are astutes. In the 2020 love is not just
Romeo and Juliet or Ram and Sita .... pious and sacrificing. Love is a scarce
resource stock. Wildly fluctuating and demanding. Simply saying it is too
hard to bear the loss it incurs or be hypnotized by the price it bull-ys and
yet be patient enough to not let it get out of your sight.
