English:

God forbid

No, I do not wish to forget you,

You took too much of my time to be able to do that now,

But now that I think of it, how do I fill up

The space in my mind that you created

But God forbid if I still miss you.

It would be too cliche if I say you were my everything,

Yet too much of a lie to say you were not

The way i was stuck amidst your flummox

It's ironic, really, how you're the only solution to it,

But God forbid if I still miss you.

How could you be my disease as well as my medicine at the same time?

I never liked how much of a fantasy you seem,

Even though you were the only reality I saw at the time

Follow your dreams, they said, so I followed you

But God forbid if I still miss you.

Now come solve this puzzle you made,

Blame yourself for having the audacity to look so fine,Keeping me up at the darkest of hours,You must take responsibility no matter how much you aren't at fault,Hush, God forbid if I still miss you.

The more I wanted you, the more reality dragged me further away from you;

Like a tandem, then giving me hopes by showing short glimpses

As though mocking me- "come look at what you can't have!"

And even if I hate to admit, I did go look,

But God forbid if I still miss you.

It's funny how I saw how utterly clueless you were

Of my hopelessly huge heart for you,

I wrote and wrote, in my diary and mind,

But alas, the feelings still remain bound in words,

No really! God forbid if I still miss you.

I still don't regret fixing my hair before you came by,

Nor do I regret all of the things I wrote with you as subject,

The codes I made, and the times I used them as passwords

But it will depress me how wrong the time wasYet God forbid if I still miss you.

Decades later we'll laugh and cry

Marathi:

New Horizons

Planet certiorari Station 3459 E-14 entered the station, her shoulders drooped and sweat covering her temple. She slugged to the bar. Her eyebrows were slightly creased and her face contorted in a frown. She was tired of this. The star was going to explode any time now. Four years ago, when she became Galactic Soldier, she vowed to protect her planet, Raenyara, her people. Back then, their task was to find another planet for the people. The radiation hit the Raenyara much before they anticipated, and as expected, the chaos unsure. Few people survived, and she was amongst them. Her people were now refugees. With alliances falling apart, no other planet wanted to take a risk by offering shelter to them. And those who did refuse to abide by the galactic law, treating the refugees worse than servants. The poor people had to accept it, otherwise, the would-be dead. The rich didn't escape from that fate. Slowly, their reserve of the currency came to an abrupt end. Only ultra-rich were ...

Habits : A Poem

Habits Without leaving any scars  Any traces of your malice You go your way I want to clamor But my voice is lost You took my words with you And a piece of myself too Infamy can't change it Truths are often feign Loving you was an old habit And old habits die hard Holidays remind me of you Blazing is what you made me feel One more spark would aflame me Just like your faded picture That's what our love was,  Anemic and antique.  Now I have a habit Nascent and strange I have an entity  One you never wanted me to have An unconfined soul It can't be seized by your malignity  For love is not what we had Just an atrophy of time Love is what I have now A possession dazzling and dainty Cheerfulness and a warm sunset Not a feeling of downfall Just utter acceptance Bliss that never gets old Habits might be old or new Time is just a rule Old habits have to die To make room for those anew This is the fin my old friend A closure it may seem End of the line for my old ...

The Alchemist- Book Review

It's the possibility of having a dream come true that makes life interesting.                                      The Alchemist - Paulo Coelho     I preface my review by saying I am amazed how wildly passionate people are in their feelings toward this novel of whether they love or hate The Alchemist. I’m one of those people who love it. But, I understand why people are so passionate in their dislike of this work. Paul Coelho looks to inspire passion in people with The Alchemist. And he succeeds in doing so especially in those who are so passionate in their dislike of this book.   The Alchemist is a novel that combines an atmosphere of medieval mysticism with the voice of the desert -- dreams, symbols, signs, and adventure follow Santiago and the reader like echoes of ancient wise voices. With this symbolic novel Coelho states that we should not avoid our destinies, and u...
